Pedestrian at Best by Courtney Barnett
Courtney Barnett, one sharp cookie!
Courtney Barnett has announced the follow-up to her 2013 release The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas that is a full-lenght album named Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, scheduled to be released on March via House Anxiety/Marathon Artists in UK/Europe, via Mom+Pop Records in North America and via Milk!Records/Remote Control.
Along with the announce, Courtney has shared the lead single Pedestrian at Best , a bolt of lightning.
Form the very first line – “I love you, I hate you, I’m on the fence, it all depends.” – and from the first very chord, Pedestrian at Best establishes itself as a new standard of modern indie rock sound and lyrics.
The unique Courtney’s style – wild, wooly and wordy – is a powerfull slap made of contraddictions and coherence, confusion and lucidity, neurosis and normality…that’s affect all of us! This makes Courtney one of the best candidates to Big Thing of 2015.
Listen and watch below Pedestrian at Best and enter into Courtney’s world. You’ll never regret!
