New song by Lenny Kravitz: The Chamber
After more than 3 years since the last LP Black and White America, Lenny Kravitz shared his new song The Chamber out from the forthcoming tenth studio album Strut, to be released on September 2014.
This first single The Chamber open the listener to a new version of Lenny which introduces sound and beat from 70’s and 90’s. This is not unusual for the rocker from NYC, but in this case I do appreciate 90’s sound which basically represents New York’s new big wave. And Lenny seems to have totally embraced this wave of sound: basslines and the whole beat move perfectly in tone with what’s coming new from the Big Apple (I’m thinking of Dev James AKA Boold Orange) and what have been played in the market in the early 90’s (basslines recall me hypnotic loops by John Taylor – Duran Duran).
So waiting for the full work, enjoy this cool cut!
